It’s been a month since I’m back in France but I realized that I forgot to talk about the termination of my mobile plan and my bank account.
In Canada, I was at Fido for my mobile plan and the termination was so simple. I was on Twitter to send them a request for information and the advisor I had to add to my file the date on which I wanted to cancel my plan.
If there had been any off-plan, the company would have sent me the invoice by email later.
For the bank, it was just as easy. I was at a counter in my bank, CIBC, and asked a teller to close my account. It took me 5 minutes to give my ID, get my money back and sign the papers. It’s the ONLY easy thing in Canada!
